Clients of Thorne Asset Management Inc. participate in several fun and educational events each year. Here are pictures from some recent activities.
On December 1, 2007, we hosted 50 clients with a gourmet, cooking event. We transformed The Mission Rock Brewery at China Basin in San Francisco into our own little French bistro.
Chefs from Hands On Gourmet led groups at each workstation in the preparation of menu items - petite quiche, mini-pizzas, duck spring rolls, salad Niçoise, potato/leek soup, steak au poivre, and chocolate éclairs. As the first three items were completed, they were passed among the group…just enough good tastes to keep everyone's enthusiasm up for the rest of the meal.
Later the soup, salad, steaks and éclairs were served to the guests at tables big enough to encourage mixed groups, but small enough for lots of conversation, shared cooking stories and laughter. As the evening wound down, we were left wondering, “How can we top this?”
Check out the pictures below for a visual taste of the food and good times.
